This Poly Lead measures 9 feet long, about 5/8 inch thick, and has a spring loaded, extra-large bolt snap that's easy to open even when wearing thick gloves along with a 10 inch chain.  

This 9 foot lead is a great, all purpose length, long enough to add a knot at the end for a little extra grip if a horse pulls. Cut and melt fibers for a shorter, kid and pony-friendly length.
